LEAVE A TRACE BEHIND

The project was part of an installation and workshop at Röhsska design museum in Gothenburg and treats subjects such as ownership of a public space and the power in the act of tracemaking.

CHIA CHAIR

The Chia-Chair was a conceptual furniture piece made for Stockholm Furniture Fair as a collaboration between me and two other designers. We wanted to make a seating that both plant and human could appreciate, and explore where such a design process would lead us.

Actually, we would even go as far as to argue that it is only logical that the plant is the primary user as it is the inhabitant of the chair, while the human is merely a temporary visitor from time to time.

Recently this piece was a part of the Garden Futures exhibition at the V&A Dundee.

The aim of this project was to explore the idea of how an object with an organic design would affect our interactions and relationship with it and how this might make us look at our furniture in a new way.
